Ms. Vettes-4-Vets was born in Belgium and now resides in Birmingham, Alabama, Sgt’s. Mahand and Bailey escorted runner up Kori Martin, Ms. Vettes-4-Vets runner up 2011. Kori is from Shelby County, Alabama.
The Marine escorts were from the 4th Anti-Terrorist Battalion, 4th Marine Division out of Bessemer, AL.
